Ein zweistündiger Stadtrundgang durch Gettysburg, bei dem die Zivilisten von Gettysburg vorgestellt werden, die den Schrecken des Krieges miterlebt haben, und historische Gebäude und ihre Bedeutung hervorgehoben werden.
Bei der Recherche geht es darum, Berichte aus erster Hand wiederzuentdecken, die das zivile Leben und die Überlegungen von Soldaten beschreiben, die in diesen drei langen Tagen im Juli 1863 taktisch und tragisch die Straßen von Gettysburg besetzten
Wissen und die pure Freude Ihres Führers, diese Lebenslinien zu finden, die Gegenwart und Vergangenheit verbinden, sind demütigend und ansteckend!

Startort und Haltestellen
Die Tour beginnt im Unity Park neben Mr. G's Ice Cream. Sie führt weiter nach Norden auf die Baltimore Street und hebt Bereiche hervor, die 1863 die Hauptstraße der Stadt waren. Wir gehen die historische High Street entlang, sprechen über die damalige und heutige Nutzung dieser Stadtgebäude und kehren über die Baltimore Street zum Alumni Park zurück. Dies ist ein gemächlicher Spaziergang... Kein Wandern... auf asphaltierten Straßen... Rollstühle sind überschaubar. Diese Tour kann den Friedhofshügel hinaufgehen
