From Midtown Manhattan take any line down to 14th Street and transfer to the L line (approximate travel time: additional 10-15 minutes).
Meeting place is outside subway station. Exit towards the front of the train (if coming from Manhattan).
Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes before tour starting time.
Tour ending: the tour usually returns back to the meeting place.

Attire/what to wear:
We will be spending 2 hours outside! Please prepare accordingly. If it is cold, dress more warmly than seems necessary. Hats, gloves, scarves, etc. The guide/group cannot be hurried if somebody did not dress appropriately.
Tips: tipping your tour guide is customary in NYC; but it is not required. Tips are commonly $3-10 for the group.

Therefore we are limited with how much detailed info we can provide. We wish that it would be possible to delve into extensive history and socioeconomic facts, because these are some of our favorite topics! The tour consists of: neighborhood overview, basic history, seeing cool shops and art.
