About

The Discover Freediving experience is a program that introduces participants to freediving activities in a confined water setting and under the guidance and supervision of professionals. It is designed as a highly flexible program that offers an informative, enjoyable, controlled experience centered on modern freediving techniques.

Will will start with a certified instructor that will review freediving concepts with ea. person in the group. Next we will learn proper breathing and breathhold techniques as well as introductory free dive disciplines plus proper buddy procedures. Finally, we will learn how to make a proper water entry.

Most students, after completing the Discover Freediving course, have built confidence to take on the added challenge of open water diving. Discover Freediving students can seamlessly upgrade to the PADI Freediver Certification at a later date.

Important Info.

  • You must be 10 years old or older.
  • You need adequate swimming skills
  • Need to be in good physical health
  • If you answer YES to any of the questions on this medical form, you will need to see your physician for medical clearance to dive. Diver Medical Form
  • No prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving, or freediving is required.
  • Location for your course will be determined by your instructor closer to your activity date and based on weather and tide conditions.

*It is highly recommended to wear a wetsuit or some type of exposure suit during this course.

*If you do not have any of the above gear, you may rent gear from LFD.

Following the "Discover Freediving", participants will then be more prepared to take our PADI Freediver Course.

- Full payment is required in order to secure your spot and is non-refundable
- Customers will receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances
- Trips are not cancelled due to rain
- No shows will be charged the full price of the booked trip/course. No refunds will be given due to the potential loss of business/expenses incurred.
- Private sessions: cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the scheduled date to allow us to book other clients. You will receive a gift card that won't expire and can reschedule during availability.

  • If you have booked this activity on a weekend or late in the afternoon on a weekday, we highly suggest you use rideshare to the park as there is usually no parking during this time.

If you rented gear from us, we will bring all the rented items with us. If you want to add on any items to your reservation, please contact us at least 24 hours before the start of the course.
